Revolutionary War Officer's Epaulet- identified

DESCRIPTION

A real Revolutionary War officer's epaulet. Put in a shallow shadow box frame about 1920. The lid of the cardboard box in which it had been stored was pasted to the back, bearing the officer's name and line of descent in the family. A very cool piece. You are actually looking at the back of the epaulet. The top had some mouse chews and the family thought the back looked better.
