Japanese WW2 Hokobokuro with Silk Scarf
click for an even bigger image

Original Japanese World War Two soldier's personal effects or "comfort bag," the hokobokuro.
Olive green with black printing, roughly 9 by 13 inches. Inside is a piece of white silk 15 by 45 inches that I assume is a scarf. A modern note on Japanese hotel stationary says "Kikuzou, Yamashita" which I assume is the soldier's name who carried it. The bag is in good shape, just some small spots and stains from actual use. Three small pencil-point size moth nips on one edge near top.
US only please. Shipping $4.95. NY addresses add sales tax.
